First set up in 1938 in Fleet Street, Maurice Sedwell relocated to the Row in 1963, originally located at No. 9 before moving to bigger, more elegant premises in 1994.
Maurice Sedwell was the first Savile Row tailor to receive the Guild of Master Craftsmen’s accolade for Quality and Service and its Armorial Bearing for Skill and Integrity. Today the tailor’s premises are also the home of the Savile Row Bespoke Academy.
