2024 deBolex dB25

Owner: deBolex Hosted by: Malle London

The dB25 is the first in a number of Series motorcycle projects to be developed by British company deBolex. Using the Ducati Monster 1200 as a base, the specialist has transformed this fantastic platform into a full-fairing retro racer. DeBolex has reimagined both the design and the character with more than 100 new custom components, including a new lightweight CNC aluminium rear subframe, polymer fuel cell, 21 carbonfibre panels, 60 laser-cut sheet-metal parts and 22 CNC aluminium components.

The number one, and prototype bike, is built from aluminium. This hand-crafted design has then, through various techniques, been ‘captured’, enabling deBolex to produce the final 24 bikes in carbonfibre. This is a unique process that replicates the hand-made design features of traditional metal shaping, and turns them into modern, lightweight and strong composite panels.

DeBolex’s dB25 is limited to 25 motorcycles, each individually built to customer specifications, so no two machines will ever be the same. All work is carried out in-house, from design and metal shaping right through to the carbonfibre forming, paintwork and seat trimming.
