1952 Jaguar XK120 by Lunaz
Owner: Lunaz Hosted by: Arthur Sleep
This 1952 Jaguar XK120 has been restored and electrified by classic EV conversion specialists Lunaz at its headquarters at Silverstone, UK.
As with all its conversions, Lunaz re-engineered the XK120 from the ground up, even creating 3D CAD models to ensure technical accuracy before using traditional coachbuilding and restoration skills to perfect the bodywork, which has been finished in Blue Obsidian.
An all-electric powertrain, developed in-house at Lunaz, dispenses with the original six-cylinder engine and four-speed manual gearbox. It’s said
to provide a remarkable 375bhp of power, 516lb ft of torque and 250 miles of range.
Infotainment, WiFi, audio and navigation and cleverly integrated into the cabin. Uniquely, this particular conversion uses no animal products in its interior, with textile seat materials and carpets woven from reclaimed fishing nets.
